Flume – Some Minds ft. Andrew Wyatt

Flume

Flume is back.

Well technically he has always been here, busy throwin around a bunch of flawless remixes of his favorite artists songs. Like his most recent remix of Sam Smiths song Lay Me Down which was absolutely beautiful. But he is back nonetheless and this time with an original release, a collaboration Andrew Wyatt. This track redefines Flumes music, himself saying this piece with Andrew was “the most natural collabs he’s worked on” and that he opened up to a new way of working.

This track has been giving mixed emotions to fans of Flume music, its intro so serene with a simple drum beat and harmonious synths. Andrew singing gracefully into a long buildup that leads to pure ecstasy and a mind boggling drop! That turns your body into noodles apparently. A definite teaser for whats to come for his future work. Along with the release is a mind blowing music video. Setting takes place inside Syndeys Opera House while it was empty, an excellent opportunity, where you can see the beautiful architectural design of the theater. Such flawless in design Harley did not want to disturb it as he floats across its floors, embracing the palace of music. Then you suddenly realize that the artist himself is a liquid being of inter-dimensional space as he contorts his body in dance along with his music. Amazing video production by Clemens Habicht to say the least. So without further ado, Check out the official video for Some Minds with Andrew Wyatt below.
