What So Not Jumps Genres With Divide and Conquer

What So Not continues to experiment with different sounds across the electronic music spectrum. We heard his try with a hip hop collaboration with Tkay Maidza and trap and bass sounds in his Gemini EP. Now we see more of a combination of both in recent days; This summer releasing a fair share of genre bending tracks and a music video. Emoh seems to be having fun branching out solo, directing What So Not into newer sounds with creative artists like GANZ, Baauer, Dillon Francis, George Maple, GTA and Tunji Ige to name just a few.

One of the many songs that should be in your playlist this summer, Buried is a beautiful combination of hip hop, female vocals and beat production with George Maple and Rome Fortune. You will sing your soul away among the guitar and synth. A much more ambient song compared to Feel It with GTA and Tunji, yet just as vibrant. Feel It builds with more synths on the high end with vocals quickly leading into an atmospheric drop. Have you jumpin on a cloud.

Now if you want heavy What So Not has heavy. After playing with light synths, WSN hits the studio to work on a new EP project Divide and Conquer. Just as GTA gets ready for an album release this October. Divide and Conquer the single is released following the aforementioned tracks. Not long after releasing the Gemini EP either and this guy is ready to showoff some new sounds. Getting creative on the heavy bassline on this one. A dark trap anthem is born to get a night life crowd pumped. Along with Buried, these songs set the tone for the upcoming EP, this sounds exciting.
