Sylvie Rise To Grace

Inspired by music at a young age through singing, this Chicago artist has transformed herself into the genre bending cello playing vocalist she is today. With a passion for her art and talent Sylvie Grace takes to the streets of Chicago on Michigan Ave and performs for the public. If you had the chance to greet her she is quite friendly! She frequents the studio when not street performing and has gained quite the reputation in the Chicago music community.

Collaborating with many locals from A Billion Young to Palmer Squares and many others, she assists with either with her cello or her vocals. Leaving her mark in sound around Chicago. On her own she works with a loop station a cello and sometimes a drummer. The combination results in soulful pop and R&B tunes with deep lyrics. Another beautiful example of Chicago’s many talents. Keep on the lookout for her single this coming February, a preview to her project Bloom coming in March.

A Billion Young – Flwr

Creation can come from anywhere and can happen in any moment. For A Billion Young creation just needed a bedroom and the time to create was now, in their perspective at that moment. Collaborating with wonderful Chicago talent by the likes of Jac Stovler, Rich Jones, and Sylvie Grace with whom I have had the pleasure of meeting while she performed with her cello on Mag Mile Downtown, the artists create a 6 track mix tape that transcends genres. From soulful to future bass to trap, juke and footwork styles with the use of live instruments, guitars, cellos, vocals and midi controllers Chicago look no further for talent and good music than your own backyard. I recommend listening this in order and loudly.
