Akon is known for his musical background. His first debut album was Trouble with singles like Gunshot, Locked Up, and Lonely. Also he has explored on to the acting side and was in an action thriller “American Heist” in 2014. His career and brand continues to grow into different directions.

Samba Bathily is known for helping develop western Africa. They are working together in what should be mentioned with great honor, Akon Lighting Africa. He has partnered with Solektra (Energy Solution for Africa), Give Project ( a global organization that Aims for young leaders to helping communities), China Jiangsu International (Economic-Technical Cooperation), and Sumec (help integrate global resources, and promote innovation).\ to provide Africa with solar electricity. He is helping millions of families in over 10 counties by simply bringing electricity to there homes.
