Hermitude is set to make an appearance at the Australian Aria Awards on the 26th of November. They duo has gathered up 7 nominations in their country in the areas “Best Album of the Year” “Best Australian Live Act” “Best Group” Best Producer” to name a few! I have had the joy to be able to experience Hermitude live and I have a good feeling they will get that Australian Live Act. The energy they brought to Toyota Park for Freaky Deaky Chicago 2015 was just incredible.
Aside from that news Hermitude presents you fans with new music as well! Xan Young on the vocals for their most recent track. The collab creates a beautiful future classic tune for a chill day. Right after releasing a heavy hitter for fellow Australian producer Alison Wonderland and their latest album Dark Night Sweet Light. Go back and forth between moods with the two tracks.
If you cannot get enough of Hermitude you are in luck. Right here is a music video for the duo’s most recent track Searchlight. With Yeo on the vocals and Hermitudes raw production talent they have together created a track to light up the dance floors yet again. Synths blaring and trumpets sample pumping over manipulated vocals and snares; this song gives a feeling of enlightenment when the beat drops.

Hermitudes 5th studio album Dark Night Sweet Light has been released worldwide since Aug 28th.Complete with our favorite tracks Ukiyo, Through The Roof and The Buzz. The Buzz as well as Through The Roof both went through some tearing down and rebuilding by a bunch of talented artists in Hermitude remix EP’s since their Australian release. Off of Dark Night Sweet Light, The Buzz made its rounds a couple months ago as a tease to Hermitudes highly anticipated album coming out August 28th world wide. If you live in Australia you are lucky to have the early release. While still young it got the remix treatment by Sweater Beats and Paces from New York and Australia. As you can imagine they nailed it, making it onto the remix EP along with the original version and a Big K.R.I.T. version, which will be available along with Through the Roof and Ukiyo when you preorder the album.
